Sedation Dentist - Fayetteville, GA

Feel At-Ease in
Our Dental Treatment Chair

The dental office is often regarded as a clinical and “scary” environment that’s cold. Not at Sparking Smiles Fayetteville! Our newly remodeled building is open, airy, and bright, and made with our dental patients’ comfort in mind. If you have dental anxiety, nervousness surrounding dental treatments, or are generally scared of the dentist, our team has your back. We want you to feel comfortable and at-ease. Not only do we offer sedation dentistry in our dental office to help with this, but we’ve also created a wholesome and friendly environment that makes you feel right at home when you visit our sedation dentist in Fayetteville, GA.

Why Choose Sparking Smiles Fayetteville for Sedation Dentistry?

Nitrous Oxide Dental Sedation

For patients who have mild to moderate dental anxiety, we offer a fast-acting form of sedation that you may have heard referred to as laughing gas, called nitrous oxide. Once you get comfortable in your treatment chair, we’ll place a small nose mask on you that will allow you to easily breathe in a colorless, odorless gas. Within a matter of a minute or so, you’ll feel the calm and euphoric effects of nitrous oxide sedation wash over you. As soon as your treatment is complete, we’ll remove the mask, the effects will wear off, and you’ll be able to go on with your day.

Oral Conscious Dental Sedation

For patients who have more severe dental anxiety, we offer oral conscious sedation. Before your appointment, we’ll prescribe a single pill for you to take. That way, by the time a loved one drops you off at our dental office, you’ll already feel relaxed. Because the effects of oral conscious sedation can last up to eight hours, you’ll need to be prepared to have somebody pick you up after your visit as well.
